I am a writer who has always used words as a way of understanding the world. Writing has never been a hobby for me; it has been a constant, something I returned to long before I knew what I wanted to say or who I was allowed to be. Over time, it became both a discipline and a refuge.

I tend to write in fragments first – scenes, observations, moments that linger – before allowing them to take shape. This book grew slowly, over many years, through persistence rather than momentum. Finishing it required patience, distance, and the decision to take my own work seriously.

Publishing this book marks a turning point for me, not because it tells a difficult story, but because it represents follow-through. It is the result of choosing to complete something that mattered, to trust my voice, and to stop waiting for permission to use it.

Outside of this book, I continue to write as a way of processing, questioning, and refining my understanding of people and relationships. I am interested in memory, power, emotional dynamics, and the long shadows early experiences can cast over adult life. Writing allows me to examine these ideas with honesty and care.

This book exists because I am a writer who did not stop. Everything else came second.
